WEEK ONE
The first week of the course focuses on innovative technologies in the field of computer science as well as the art of computational thinking. The course examines the significance of technologies such as the blockchain, and provides students with a solid understanding of how they work and how they can be used. In addition, students will also have an opportunity to greatly improve their problem solving and programming skills as they tackle a wide variety of problems.
WEEK TWO
Artificial Intelligence week of the course aims to give students a greater understanding of the fascinating topic areas of AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
The course provides a Silicon Valley perspective on State-of-the-Art technologies and covers both hands-on exercises as well as overview sessions to enhance the participants' understanding of what is possible with the emerging technologies and how they can be used.

STUDENT-LED PROJECT
During the course, students are encouraged to come up with an idea for a project, which they will begin to work on throughout the course. A few ideas will be provided by tutors at Oxbridge College.
It is not expected that the students finish / implement their projects fully within the duration of the course.
In addition to lectures, students receive tutorials and support with a project of their choice, talks from notable guest speakers and explore Oxford through campus-led activities in their free time.
ACCOMMODATION & WELFARE
Students attending the course will be allocated an en-suite single bedroom in Cherwell House –our purpose-built students’ accommodation.
All meals (continental breakfast, light packed lunch and 3-course evening dinner) will be taken at Cherwell House.
The course supervisors, Welfare Officer and Course Secretary will be available for assistance.
DATES AND FEES
Monday 22nd August > Friday 2nd September
Once rooms have been allocated there will be supper at 6 pm and immediately after there will be an introduction by the Course Director.
The course finishes at approximately 5:00 pm on Friday.
