The inaugural Ukrainian Culture Weeks Bouquet Kyiv Stage Festival in Oxford had a great success that echoed in mass media and touched the hearts of the audience! But what has actually made the festival a success?

A few months in advance, Cherwell College Oxford in partnership with the Oxford University Ukrainian Society secured all the iconic venues for the magnificent performances of Ukrainian high culture performances. The concerts were meant to become an unforgettable gift to the UK for the enormous support that Ukraine received from the country since the first days of the full-scale war. The negotiations and meticulous selection of the stages have ensured splendid sounding for all the gems of Ukrainian classical music performance.

The project would not be possible without the students of Cherwell College Oxford, who committed voluntarily to assist in many ways: from distribution of advertising materials to stewarding at the Sheldonian Theatre. The joint collaboration between students and professionals made the project truly meritocratic. We were so proud to see the Cherwellians showing their best organizational and team-building skills!
