David Egawhary, Chemistry & Mathematics

I received my PhD from Warwick in 1998, using chemical techniques to research oxidative stress in cancer and diabetes. I subsequently moved to Oxford to get my teaching qualification (PGCE) from the University of Oxford. Since qualifying in 2000, I have been engaged in a wonderful career teaching GCSE and A-level students in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. I have taught in various colleges in Oxford and Northamptonshire, and have been teaching for Cherwell since 2019. I enjoy a good game of chess, and I dabble in cave exploration when I eventually need a break from the classroom!
